Steven Douglas Lindsey

Steven Douglas Lindsey, son of George Bertrand Johnson and Helen Ivadel Reese, is part of Generation Four, the great-grandchildren of John Sevier Branson and Martha Jane Ousley. Ordinarily information about him would be included in this public portion of the archive, but he is one of the rare surviving members of his generation (born when his father was in his seventies). For the time being, detailed information is reserved in order to guard his privacy.

Steve was not known to be a member of the Branson-Ousley clan until the spring of 2025 when DNA-matching confirmed him to be a son of George. Even Steve himself had been unaware of the fact until then. To him, George had been his attentive and beloved godfather, a constant and daily part of his life throughout childhood but not, as far as Steve knew, due to any biological connection. Steve could not be more delighted the truth has come to light.
